Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Chop the bacon into small pieces and the onion into small dices. Mince the garlic.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in the canned corn (drained), tomato sauce, cooked bacon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors combine.
Transfer the beef mixture to a casserole dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
