Detox DrinkBeverage

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Ginger clove
  • 1 medium Lemon
  • 1/2 medium Cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teabag Ginger tea
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions

1

Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan.

2

Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and add the ginger tea teabag. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool at room temperature.

3

While waiting for the tea to cool, wash the lemon and cucumber thoroughly. Then slice the lemon into thin rounds and the cucumber into thin slices.

4

Peel the ginger cloves and slice them thinly.

5

In a large jug or pitcher, combine the sliced lemon, cucumber, and ginger.

6

Pour the cooled ginger tea into the pitcher.

7

Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the mixture and stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.

8

Fill the pitcher with ice cubes, if desired, and add a little water if needed to fill. Stir the mixture and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

9

Serve chilled and enjoy your refreshing detox drink! You can garnish with a slice of lemon or a cucumber wheel on the side of the glass if desired.
