Ingredients

  • 300 g ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 head lettuce leaves
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

2

Add 1 minced garlic clove and saute until fragrant.

3

Add the 300g ground chicken to the pan and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart into small pieces as it cooks. This should take about 7-10 minutes.

4

Season the chicken with 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes to let the spices infuse.

5

Remove the pan from heat and stir in the juice of 1 lime.

6

Prepare the lettuce leaves by washing and patting them dry. Arrange them on plates.

7

Slice the avocado and set aside for topping.

8

Spoon the spicy chicken mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf, top with sliced avocado, and fold the lettuce around the filling to create wraps.
