Ingredients

  • 2 large peppers
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

Wash the peppers and slice them into thin strips, discarding the seeds and stem.

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn.

Add the sliced peppers to the skillet and stir well to coat them with the garlic infused oil.

Season with salt and black pepper, and continue to sauté the peppers for about 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.

Reduce the heat to low and add the butter to the skillet. Stir until the butter melts and coats the peppers.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are tender and flavorful.

Remove the skillet from the heat and transfer the stir-fry to a serving dish.

Serve warm as a side dish or over cooked rice for a full meal.
