In a shallow bowl or a wide dish, beat the eggs until well mixed.
Add the milk, cinnamon, and salt to the beaten eggs, and whisk together until combined.
Preheat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat, and add the butter to the pan.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated, then gently shake off any excess.
Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the French toast from the pan and place on a serving platter. Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
Serve the French toast warm with a drizzle of maple syrup on top.
