Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel and cut the potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Place them in a large baking dish.
Mince the garlic cloves.
In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, rosemary, 1 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper.
Rub the chicken breasts with the prepared marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Place the marinated chicken breasts on top of the potatoes in the baking dish.
Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the potatoes and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are golden and tender.
Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
