In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
While the chicken marinates, preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Once the grill is hot, lightly grease it with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking (you can use a paper towel dipped in oil for this).
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place them on the grill.
Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on one side without moving them, allowing them to develop nice grill marks.
Flip the chicken breasts and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
While the chicken is resting, add the trimmed asparagus to the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until the asparagus is tender and slightly charred.
Slice the grilled chicken and serve it on a plate alongside the grilled asparagus. Enjoy your Grilled Lemon Herb Chicken with Asparagus!
