Falafel Wraps with Tahini Sauce

Falafel Wraps with Tahini Sauce

By Chef

Total: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Falafels
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat wraps
  • 2 cups Lettuce
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 medium Cucumber
  • 4 tablespoons Tahini sauce

Instructions

1

Prepare all vegetables: Rinse 2 cups of lettuce, chop it roughly, and set aside. Dice 1 medium tomato and slice 1 medium cucumber into thin rounds.

2

Heat the falafels according to package instructions, usually about 10 minutes in the oven at 375°F (190°C), until crispy.

3

While the falafels are heating, warm the whole wheat wraps in a dry frying pan over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they are warm and pliable.

4

Once the falafels are heated, assemble each wrap: on each wrap, layer 2 falafels, a quarter of the chopped lettuce, some diced tomato, and cucumber slices to your liking.

5

Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of tahini sauce over the fillings of each wrap.

6

Wrap the sides of the wrap over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to wrap it completely. Repeat with the remaining wraps and ingredients.

7

Cut each wrap in half and serve immediately with extra tahini sauce on the side for dipping if desired.
