DessertFrenchBaking

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 100 g cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease four small ramekins with butter.

2

Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and place them in separate bowls.

3

In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks with the granulated sugar until the mixture becomes pale and creamy.

4

Add the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and the all-purpose flour to the egg yolk mixture, and mix until smooth.

5

In another bowl, add a pinch of salt to the egg whites. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

6

Gently fold the egg whites into the cream cheese mixture in three parts, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

7

Divide the mixture evenly among the prepared ramekins.

8

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the soufflés have risen and turned golden brown on top.

9

Remove the soufflés from the oven and dust with powdered sugar before serving immediately.
