Ingredients

  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.

3

In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

4

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti, wilted spinach, marinara sauce, and ricotta cheese. Mix until well combined.

6

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the ziti mixture.

8

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

9

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden brown.

10

Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
