  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 15 oz canned black beans
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the canned black beans and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked black beans, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa, taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
