DinnerMain Course

Ingredients

  • 6 oz sirloin steak
  • 1 cup roasted baby potatoes
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1/2 tsp of olive oil.

2

Season the sirloin steak with salt, black pepper, and mixed herbs on both sides.

3

Add the seasoned steak to the hot skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let it rest covered with foil.

4

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant.

5

Add the green beans to the skillet and sauté until they are tender and infused with the garlic flavor, about 5 minutes.

6

On a serving plate, place the roasted baby potatoes and arrange the sautéed green beans next to them.

7

Slice the rested steak against the grain and place it on the plate alongside the potatoes and green beans. Sprinkle a little more salt and pepper if needed before serving.
