Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, dried herbs, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle half of the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it's well-coated.
Arrange the cubed sweet potatoes and broccoli florets around the salmon on the baking sheet. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the vegetables, tossing them lightly to coat evenly.
Roast the salmon and vegetables in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The vegetables should be tender and slightly caramelized.
While the salmon and vegetables are roasting, prepare the brown rice according to package instructions if not already cooked.
Serve the baked salmon with a side of roasted sweet potatoes and broccoli over a bed of cooked brown rice. Optionally, garnish with additional lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh herbs if desired.
