Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup mixed berries
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon.

2

Mash the banana with a fork and add it to the bowl with the oats mixture.

3

Pour in the unsweetened almond milk and stir until well combined.

4

Add the vanilla extract and maple syrup to the mixture. Stir again to ensure everything is evenly mixed.

5

Fold in the mixed berries gently to avoid crushing them, especially if they are fresh.

6

Transfer the mixture to an airtight container or individual jars.

7

Refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and flavors.

8

Serve cold, optionally topping with extra fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
