Seaweed Chips

Seaweed Chips

By Elissa Wa

Total: 65

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet seasoned dried seaweed
  • 1 sheet rice paper
  • to taste unit garlic powder
  • to taste unit kimchi powder
  • as needed unit oil

Instructions

1

Take out the gimbap dried seaweed.

2

Wet the rice paper, making sure it is fully wet.

3

Place the wet rice paper on top of the seaweed.

4

Let it dry for about an hour.

5

To speed up the process, place the seaweed with rice paper on a baking sheet and microwave each side for 30 seconds.

6

Dry it a little more; if it’s too wet, it won’t fry correctly.

7

Cut it into pieces.

8

On low heat, slowly cook the oil. If a piece of rice paper pops up when dropped in, it’s time to fry the chips.

9

Fry the chips for 2-3 seconds on both sides.

10

Put the fried chips in a container and add garlic powder or kimchi powder.

11

Shake it to mix and enjoy your seaweed chips.
