Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork chops
  • 1 cup Apple sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 400 g Green beans
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2

Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.

3

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

4

Transfer the skillet with pork chops to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

5

While the pork chops are baking, trim the ends of the green beans and peel and mince the garlic cloves.

6

In a separate large skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

7

Add the green beans to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat in the garlic oil. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the green beans are tender-crisp.

8

Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

9

Serve the pork chops with a generous spoonful of apple sauce on top, alongside the sautéed green beans. Enjoy your meal!
