  • 2 pieces pitted dates, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Preheat a small non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the coconut oil.

Once the oil is melted and heated, add the sliced apple to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples begin to soften.

Add the chopped pitted dates to the skillet and stir to combine with the apples.

Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apple and date mixture and gently stir to ensure the cinnamon is evenly distributed.

Lower the heat to medium-low and cover the skillet with a lid. Allow the mixture to cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the dates are slightly caramelized.
