Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine 1 cup of rolled oats with 2 cups of milk.

2

Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/8 teaspoon of salt, stirring well to combine.

3

Slice the banana and set a few slices aside for garnish. Add the remaining slices to the oat mixture and stir to incorporate.

4

Chop 1/4 cup of almonds. Stir them into the oatmeal mixture, reserving a few pieces for garnish, if desired.

5

Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.

6

In the morning, give the oats a good stir. If the mixture seems too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.

7

Serve in bowls, topped with reserved banana slices and chopped almonds. You can drizzle additional honey on top if desired.
