Ingredients

  • 4 oz flank steak
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup snap peas
  • 1/2 cup carrot
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1

Prepare your ingredients by thinly slicing the flank steak and slicing the bell peppers. Matchstick the carrot and mince the garlic and ginger.

In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

3

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

5

In the same pan, add the bell peppers, snap peas, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

6

Return the steak to the pan. Add the low-sodium soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
