In a medium-sized saucepan, combine 1 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of almond milk. Stir well to combine.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the almond milk, about 10 minutes.
While the oats are cooking, if using frozen berries, slightly thaw them in a microwave for about 30 seconds. If using fresh berries, wash and pat them dry.
Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of honey (if using) into the cooked oats.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and gently fold in the mixed berries, incorporating them evenly into the oatmeal.
Divide the oatmeal into two bowls. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of almond butter on top of each serving. Optionally, sprinkle a little more cinnamon for garnish.
Serve the oatmeal warm, enjoying the delightful combination of berries and almond butter.
