Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
Season the skirt steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Place the steak on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
Thinly slice the grilled steak against the grain and set aside.
Slice the grilled bell peppers into thin strips and slice the onion into thin rounds.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Dice it into bite-sized pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, sliced bell peppers, sliced onions, black beans, corn, and avocado.
Squeeze the juice of the lime over the mixed salad ingredients.
Drizzle the lime vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to combine all ingredients.
Arrange the sliced steak over the salad.
