Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground turkey to the skillet, cooking and stirring until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the browned turkey. Add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet, stirring well to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes. Place them into a large salad bowl.
Add the cooked taco-seasoned turkey on top of the lettuce and tomatoes.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the salad.
Top with a spoonful of sour cream (about 1/4 cup in total).
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then toss the salad or serve as is.
