Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries & strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In a medium-sized bowl or a jar with a lid, combine 1 cup of rolled oats and 1 cup of almond milk.

Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup to the mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Gently fold in the mixed berries (blueberries and sliced strawberries) into the mixture.

Cover the bowl or fasten the lid on the jar and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.

Before serving, chop 1/4 cup of walnuts and sprinkle them on top of the oats. Add a few extra berries for garnish if desired.
