SaladSeafoodFrench Cuisine

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Canned tuna in water
  • 1 cup cooked Baby potatoes
  • 0.5 cup Green beans
  • 2 cups Mixed greens
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil vinaigrette
  • 1 large Hard-boiled egg
  • 4 pieces Olives
  • to taste optional Salt
  • to taste optional Black pepper

Instructions

1

Start by boiling a small pot of water. Once boiling, add the baby potatoes and cook until fork-tender, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from water and let cool slightly.

2

In the same boiling water, add the green beans and blanch for 2 minutes. Remove and quickly transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop cooking and retain color.

3

On a serving plate, arrange mixed greens as a base.

4

Cut the cooked baby potatoes into halves or quarters, depending on size, and place them over the mixed greens.

5

Drain the canned tuna and flake it into chunks. Add the tuna over the salad.

6

Slice the hard-boiled egg and olives. Add them to the salad.

7

Drizzle the olive oil vinaigrette over the entire salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

8

Toss the salad lightly or serve with the dressing on the side for individual preferences. Enjoy your Tuna Niçoise Salad!
