Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Chia

Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Chia

By Konnor Roth

Total: 10 minutes
DessertBreakfastHealthyQuick & Easy

Ingredients

  • 200 g plain Greek yogurt (2% fat)
  • 75 g mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 40 g granola (low-sugar)
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the plain Greek yogurt with the chia seeds until well combined. This will allow the chia seeds to start absorbing moisture.

2

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, you may want to slice them into smaller pieces.

3

Take a clean glass or parfait dish and start layering the ingredients. Begin by adding a spoonful of the yogurt and chia seed mixture into the bottom of the dish.

4

Add a layer of mixed berries over the yogurt, spreading them evenly.

5

Sprinkle a layer of granola over the berries.

6

If using, add a layer of chopped walnuts for extra crunch and flavor.

7

Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a final layer of yogurt on top.

8

Drizzle the honey over the top layer of yogurt for a touch of sweetness.

9

Garnish with a few additional berries or a sprinkle of granola, if desired, to enhance the visual appeal.

10

Serve immediately to enjoy the crispness of the granola, or refrigerate for a few minutes if you prefer a softer texture from the granola absorbing moisture.
