Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Chia

Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait with Granola & Chia

By Konnor Roth

Total: 10 minutes
BreakfastDessertHealthy

Ingredients

  • 200 g plain Greek yogurt (2% fat)
  • 75 g mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 40 g granola (low-sugar)
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1

In a small mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt with the chia seeds. Stir well to ensure that the seeds are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt.

2

Wash and gently pat dry the mixed berries. If berries like strawberries are large, cut them into smaller pieces for easier layering.

3

In a serving glass or bowl, add a layer of the yogurt and chia seed mixture (about one-third of the total amount).

4

Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt, using approximately one-third of the berries.

5

Sprinkle a layer of granola over the berries, using one third of the total granola amount.

6

Repeat steps 3 to 5 until all the yogurt, berries, and granola are used up, creating beautiful layers.

7

Drizzle the honey evenly over the top layer of the parfait.

8

Optionally, sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top for added crunch and flavor.

9

Serve immediately, or let it chill in the refrigerator for a few minutes to allow the chia seeds to soften further.
