Peel and devein the shrimp, if they haven't been cleaned already.
Finely chop the garlic cloves.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until they are pink and cooked through.
Add the sautéed mixed vegetables to the skillet with the shrimp and stir to combine.
Stir in 1/2 cup of marinara sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Add the cooked whole-wheat pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
Serve the Shrimp & Vegetable Whole-Wheat Pasta hot, garnished with more black pepper if desired.
