Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup whole-grain granola
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds (optional)

Instructions

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly under cold water. If using strawberries, remove the stems and chop them into small pieces.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey. Stir well until the honey is fully incorporated into the yogurt.

In a glass or parfait cup, add a layer of the yogurt and honey mixture, approximately 1/3 of the total amount.

Sprinkle a portion of mixed berries over the yogurt layer, using about half of the available berries.

Add a layer of granola, using approximately half of the total granola.

Repeat the layers starting with another 1/3 of the yogurt and honey mixture, followed by the remaining mixed berries and another layer of granola.

Finish with the remaining yogurt and honey mixture on top.

Sprinkle the top with chia seeds and chopped almonds, if using, for extra crunch and flavor.

Serve immediately as a refreshing breakfast or snack.
