Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the peanut butter and stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, combine sugar and flour. Add the melted butter and peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
Crush the crackers into fine crumbs and gently fold them into the mixture until fully incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, cut into bars and serve.
