Start by placing 1 cup of low-fat cottage cheese in a serving bowl.
Top the cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of pineapple or peach slices. Make sure to drain the fruit if it's canned to remove excess liquid.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of walnuts over the fruit and cottage cheese. If you like, you can toast the walnuts briefly in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, to enhance their flavor.
Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey over the mixture for added sweetness.
Finish by dusting 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon on top for extra flavor.
Serve immediately as a refreshing and nutritious breakfast or snack.
