Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait

Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait

By Miriam Klein

Total: 15 minutes
BreakfastDessertSnack

Ingredients

  • 800 g plain Greek yogurt
  • 120 g nut-free granola
  • 400 g mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 4 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 zest lemon zest
  • a pinch N/A salt

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Stir well until smooth and creamy.

2

Rinse and gently pat dry the mixed berries. If using strawberries, hull and slice them into halves or quarters for more even layering.

3

Set out four serving glasses or bowls. Spoon a layer of the Greek yogurt mixture into the bottom of each glass.

4

Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt layer, distributing them evenly among the glasses.

5

Sprinkle a thin layer of nut-free granola over the berries for a crunchy texture.

6

Repeat the layering process: another layer of yogurt, followed by berries, then granola. Continue until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of berries.

7

Drizzle the remaining honey or maple syrup evenly over the top layer of berries.

8

Garnish each parfait with a sprinkle of lemon zest for a fresh citrusy aroma and additional flavor.

9

Serve immediately as a refreshing breakfast, snack, or dessert.
