Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the lean ground turkey to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, approximately 6-8 minutes.
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer the sauce on low heat for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Toss the cooked spaghetti into the meat sauce, gently mixing until well coated. Let it heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
Divide the pasta among plates and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
For the salad, slice the cucumber and combine with mixed greens in a large bowl.
Drizzle vinaigrette over the salad and toss until coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
