Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait

By Brittanie Peterson

Total: 10 minutes
BreakfastDessertHealthyVegetarianSnack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Granola
  • 3/4 cup Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds

Instructions

1

In a medium-sized bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the chia seeds. Stir well until the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt. Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds to start absorbing moisture and soften slightly.

2

Wash and gently pat dry the mixed berries. If the strawberries are too large, you can halve or quarter them for easier layering.

3

In a serving glass or bowl, layer half of the yogurt-chia seed mixture at the bottom.

4

Sprinkle half of the granola evenly over the yogurt layer.

5

Add a layer of the mixed berries, using half of your prepared berries, over the granola layer.

6

Repeat the layers with the remaining yogurt-chia seed mixture, granola, and mixed berries.

7

Drizzle the honey over the top layer of berries.

8

Serve immediately, or refrigerate for 5-10 minutes if you prefer it slightly chilled.
