Juice the whole lemon, and mince the garlic cloves.
In a bowl, mix lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
