Greek Yogurt Berry Parfait

By Andy Lam

Total: 10 minutes
BreakfastDessertSnack

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2%)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds (optional)

Instructions

1

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly under cold running water, and gently pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel. This will ensure that the berries are clean and ready to use in the parfait.

2

Take a glass or a bowl suitable for layering. Spoon half of the Greek yogurt into the bottom of the glass or bowl to create the first layer.

3

Sprinkle a layer using half of the mixed berries over the yogurt. Try to distribute them evenly to cover all the yogurt.

4

Add half of the granola on top of the berry layer, spreading it evenly across the berries.

5

If using, scatter half of the chopped almonds over the granola for added crunch and nuttiness.

6

Drizzle half of the honey over the previous layers to add sweetness.

7

Repeat the layers with the remaining Greek yogurt, berries, granola, almonds, and finish with a drizzle of the remaining honey at the top.

8

Serve immediately to enjoy the parfait at its freshest, or cover and refrigerate for up to one hour if needed.
