By Jennifer Bridges

Total: 10 minutes
BreakfastSnackHealthyDessert

Ingredients

  • 150 g Plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 25 g Rolled oats
  • 100 g Mixed berries (blueberries/strawberries/raspberries)
  • 12 g Walnuts
  • 10 g Chia seeds
  • 7 g Honey
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract or cinnamon

Instructions

1

Gather all your ingredients to have them ready.

2

In a mixing bowl, combine the plain nonfat Greek yogurt and honey. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and the honey is fully incorporated. If using, add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon at this stage and mix well.

3

In a serving glass or bowl, start layering the ingredients. Add half of the yogurt mixture to the bottom of the glass.

4

Sprinkle half of the rolled oats evenly over the yogurt layer.

5

Add half of the mixed berries on top of the oats.

6

Sprinkle half of the chia seeds over the berries, followed by a few walnut halves.

7

Repeat the layering process with the remaining yogurt, oats, berries, chia seeds, and walnuts. Finish by drizzling a small amount of honey on top, if desired.

8

Let the parfait sit for a couple of minutes, allowing the chia seeds to absorb some moisture and the flavors to meld together before serving.
